1. Product introduction

The company primarily manufactures RWA-based products, which are made from phenolic resin and aluminum oxide. As mentioned earlier, these abrasives are specifically designed for stainless steel surface polishing, effectively removing impurities while delivering a smooth and refined finish. 

They have produced the grit #180, 240, 400, 800, 1500 and 2000.

During the polishing process, water is continuously supplied to help dissipate heat and stabilize the polishing(grinding) performance. For this reason, the process is classified as wet polishing rather than dry polishing, ensuring improved surface quality and reduced thermal damage.

2.  In which field is stainless steel polished with this product used?

After the previously mentioned grinding and wet polishing process is completed, the surface undergoes an additional precision finishing stage using wool polishing. This step enhances the smoothness and clarity of the surface, ultimately producing the stainless steel mirror finish we aim to achieve.

At this stage, the material may also be further processed with colored titanium coatings applied through a high-vacuum plating process. This titanium coating process is highly sophisticated and technically demanding, and in Korea, it is carried out by only a handful of specialized factories.

Finished stainless steel mirror products are used across a wide range of industries. These include safety convex mirrors for eliminating blind spots on roads, medical and sanitary equipment, anti-theft mirrors, elevator decorative panels, and high-end interior materials.

3. Product Specifications and Handling Guidelines

 The sizes most commonly used, both domestically and internationally, are outer diameters of 150 mm, 200 mm, and 220 mm. The standard thickness is 25 mm or 30 mm. And they have various inner diameter options.

In terms of hardness, the product is soft enough that its surface can be slightly marked by a fingernail if scratched firmly. As a result, it may wear down relatively quickly when used in polishing machines that operate with high pressure or torque. If these precision products from the company are run too aggressively, they may leave scratches on the stainless steel surface, so careful operation is required.

The approximate unit price is USD 13.50 FOB Busan, Korea for a #180 grit, 150 mm and 25mm thicks product. However, pricing may vary depending on order quantity and payment terms.
